ASX Trading Halt


Forte Energy NL ("Forte Energy" or "The Company") (ASX/AIM: FTE) advises that trading in the shares of  the
Company was halted on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) today. The halt was requested by the Company
pending  the completion of final documentation and preparation of an announcement in respect to a potential
acquisition.  The  shares are expected to resume trading on the ASX immediately after the announcement  has
been released, which is expected to be within the next 2 trading days. Forte Energy shares will continue to
trade on the AIM market throughout this period.
